Police have arrested a Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) employee and an intern who were captured on camera stealing property of an airlines company.

The two were reportedly caught on camera stealing luggage straps at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), on Saturday, February 16.

In a tweet seen by TUKO.co.ke, on Saturday, February 16, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) identified the two as Evans Okola Agunda and Mercy Chepkorir.

gunda is an aircraft marshaller at KAA while Chepkorir is an intern.

“Evans Okola Agunda and an intern Mercy Chepkorir, were arrested early today after being spotted stealing luggage straps,” DCI captioned a video footage capturing the incident.

In the video, a man wearing a reflector jacket is seen alighting from a high end vehicle in an open warehouse space, picks something from a bundle of assorted goods and stuffs it in the car before hurriedly speeding off.
